When the Spy leaves Court, a major piece may leave the Field or Border and enter 

Court. This occurs as one move for notation purposes, but the the Spy moves first, then the Field or Border piece moves second (see Rule III.h). As a later move, the piece may then leave Court at anytime. The King is the only major piece that can enter Court on its own, while not depending on the Spy. Pawns cannot enter Court.
